Dalma
Mátéfi.
Every photograph is an attempt to preserve a moment—not perfectly, but honestly.
I was born in Transylvania, but Budapest has been my home for many years now. Photography became truly defining in my life in 2017—though the world of light and fleeting moments has drawn me in since my high school years.
I love to travel, to discover new places and meet new people. Most of my photographs are born along the way, in those moments when curiosity and experience collide.
Through my images, I try to capture the mood, the rhythm, and the quiet silences of the world. Cityscapes and candid portraits are closest to my heart—especially when a single frame holds an entire story within it.

After my diagnosis in 2017, I decided not to postpone the journeys that mattered to me. It is part of my life, but it does not define who I am.
